The Wicket is Down - Law 29.1.1

The Wicket is Down

This was an interesting topic that went viral in social media when some of tennis ball cricketers from shared the above image with ICC and asked whether it was Out or Not-Out.

And to their surprise ICC replied to them with the details of the rule book and their decision.

The Rule Book says:

29.1.1  The wicket is put down if a bail is completely removed from the top of the stumps, or a stump is struck out of the ground,

So the Decision came out to be OUT

Tough Luck Batsman.
