Cricket Warm up Drill

By now the player would have warmed up enough to perform in Batting and Bowling.

This means that you are fit enough to play in the nets and improve your skills.

Batsmen would have improved his hand eye coordination and had better foot movement.

Bowler would have stretched his muscles good enough to run and swing his arm.

Wicketkeepers would have stretched his muscles to move around and have quick feet to reach and gather the ball.

Do not take warm up sessions lightly and never skip your sessions.

For professional cricketers I would recommend you have a discussion with your coach and physio and fine tune your warm up sessions to suit your body condition.

There are different techniques to warm up and they can be defined for batsman, bowlers and wicket keepers individually.
